Last year saw a number of high-profile titles with incredible production values and aesthetics. With next-gen consoles finally here, it’s time to see how various publishers and developers can raise the bar further. Let’s take a look at 15 titles releasing this year that have already impressed us with their visuals.

The Medium

Bloober Team’s upcoming psychological horror offers some great texture work and effects but the true highlight is the Dual Reality gameplay. It’s essentially like playing two different games at once with actions in the human realm affecting the spirit realm. Granted, this doesn’t form a heavy chunk of the gameplay but that it can achieve this while running at 4K/30 FPS on Xbox Series X is noteworthy. It’s out on January 28th for Xbox Series X/S and PC.
