Alone in the Dark is a survival horror game developed by Pieces Interactive and published by THQ Nordic.
It is a reboot of the survival horror franchise.
The publisher is also bringing the likes of The Valiant, SpongeBob SquarePants: The Cosmic Shake, Wreckreation, and more.
In development since late 2019, the survival horror reboot is currently in alpha. Mikael Hedberg of Amnesia: The Dark Descent fame is the writer/director.
Listed for PS5 on Smartoys, the revival is described as a “love letter to the cult '90s game.” It features two playable characters and survival horror elements.
THQ Nordic has owned the Alone in the Dark IP since 2018, and has a digital showcase set for later this week, on August 12.
