Monster Hunter Rise: Sunbreak Launching April 28th for Xbox One, Xbox Series X/S, PS4, and PS5

A new Monster Hunter Digital Event is also coming next month to detail Title Update 5, which includes a returning Elder Dragon.

After a recent leak, Capcom has officially confirmed that Monster Hunter Rise: Sunbreak will launch on April 28th for Xbox One, Xbox Series X/S, PS4, PS5 and PC via the Windows Store. It will include all Title Updates up to Title Update 3, which adds Chaotic Gore Magala. Retailing for $39.99, pre-orders are currently available.

Available on Nintendo Switch and PC, Sunbreak introduces a new home base, Elgado, and new locales. There are Master Rank Quests and new monsters like Garangolm, Lunagaron and Malzeno, an Elder Dragon. The expansion also implements new Switch Skills and Switch Skill Swap, allowing players to swap between two sets of equipped skills. Check out our review for the expansion here.

Monster Hunter Rise: Sunbreak’s Title Update 5 is also coming in April for Nintendo Switch and PC players. There will be a new Digital Event next month with more information on the update. As for when other Title Updates will be coming to Xbox and PlayStation, these will be detailed later, so stay tuned.
