Dead Cells - Return to Castlevania

Motion Twin’s latest DLC for Dead Cells, Return to Castlevania, is out now and crosses over with Konami’s legendary series. It presents a new story where The Beheaded encounters Richter Belmont and Alucard and ventures to Dracula’s Castle to take on classic enemies and bosses. Check out the launch trailer below.

Along with two new biomes, there are boss fights against Dracula (who has a wicked second form) and Death. It also includes fourteen new weapons, including Vampire Killer and the Throwing Axe, and 20 new outfits that see players dressing up as Alucard, Sypha (from Netflix’s Castlevania) and other Belmont family members. Fans can also enjoy 51 original tracks from Castlevania, with 12 remixed to fit Dead Cells.

If all this isn’t enough, there’s Richter Mode, where players control the hero, complete with his old moves and weapons, while traversing a level based on Castlevania: Symphony of the Night. Dead Cells: Return to Castlevania is available for Xbox One, PS4, Nintendo Switch and PC. Stay tuned for more details on further updates.
