Gears of War 4 will be ready for your Xbox One X ahead of your getting the system next month- The Coalition have confirmed that they will be pushing One X enhancements for the game out alongside the October map drop.

“As we prepare for the Xbox One X Enhancements coming this November (more on that in a second), the release of the October Map Drop will coincide with our Xbox One X Ready Update in late October”, The Coalition announced in a post on its website.

The Xbox One X update will be adding support for full HDR implementation to the game, as well as, in what is going to be the most impressive news for a lot of Xbox fans, support for full, native 4K resolution. Given that Gears 4 has always looked great, thanks in part due to its strong art style, this update should end up making it one of the most striking looking console games ever made.

As for the Xbox One X itself, it is due out next month on November 7. Microsoft’s supercharged Xbox One is going to represent a major and radical update on the original Xbox One hardware, and it will be the most powerful console ever upon its launch. Let’s see how it ends up doing in the market.
