The true battle is the bugs players have been dealing with ahead of the new expansion.

World of Warcraft Battle of Azeroth

When Blizzard introduced Battle for Azeroth patch 8.0 to the live servers for World of Warcraft, players were met with a lot of things just breaking to a level rarely seen before. The patch leading into the next expansion launching next month broke questlines, enemy levels, item level issues, and several spirits as players dealt with the glitches. But Blizzard has continued to hot fix the worst of the problems.

In addition to the fixes from last week, Blizzard’s latest band-aids have come out today with tons of class tweaks, quest fixes, PvP alterations, and dungeon and raid tweaks, as well as tons of bug squishing. While there’s still much to do, the patch notes are too large to include here, so while you can find partial patch notes below, you can view them in full, as provided by Blizzard, over here.

The next expansion for the legendary MMO, World of Warcraft: Battle For Azeroth will officially launch on August 14, 2018. The launch of the new expansion will mark the retirement of Artifact Weapon Traits, leaving players scrambling to unlock skins before that shuts down.
